S-896 Series UV

Afford S-896 Series is a high-quality range of UV-curable pigmented inks formulated to meet the requirements of wide format graphic printing. The ink formulation is designed to provide excellent stability, reliable printer performance and strong adhesion on a wide range of substrates.

S-896 inks were specifically developed for use with Ricoh Gen5, Ricoh Gen6, Konica Minolta 1024, Konica Minolta 1024i and Kyocera printheads. They provide reliable printer performance with minimal printhead maintenance.

The inks offer bright, vibrant and clean colors, high ink-set density and excellent adhesion on most plastic substrates, including polypropylene. The formulation also provides excellent elasticity, allowing elongation of more than 300%.

The inks are suitable for printing on a wide variety of materials, including acrylics, PVC, self-adhesive vinyl, banners and boards, as well as appropriately treated metals and glass.

Prints can be cured under UV and LED lamps. Due to differences between lamps and printer configurations, the manufacturer recommends confirming the appropriate curing schedule by testing before starting full-scale production. As a general starting point, 400 mJ/cm² is recommended.

Available colors: Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, White, Light Cyan and Light Magenta.

The inks are supplied in 1-liter and 5-liter bottles.
